“Today we launch the Women Poets’ Prize 2020.

The Women Poets’ Prize is open to all UK-based women poets, and we would really love to invite you all to submit your writing for consideration by our 2020 judges Liz Berry, Malika Booker, and Pascale Petit.

You could be in with the chance to win £1,000 in cash, and a year’s worth of creative and professional development prizes from our industry partners [logos on screen: Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Verve Festival, City Lit, Faber & Faber, Bath Spa University, Poetry School, The Literary Consultancy].

Alongside these prizes you will also receive a year’s mentoring one-to-one with one of our expert mentors, and all sorts of other support.

Please do send us your work. There is no entry fee. We would love to hear from you!”
