Kirsten Luckins, Project Manager
Kirsten Luckins is an experienced producer of spoken word and live literature events, physically based in Teesside but working nationally.
For ten years she was Apples and Snakes producer in the North. Now freelance, she manages the Women Poets’ Prize and the development of the Women Poets’ Network alongside her other responsibilities as Artistic Director of the Tees Women Poets collective, lead writer for the Celebrating Change digital storytelling project, and Co-Ordinator for Crossing the Tees Book Festival.
In addition to her work as a producer, Kirsten is a poet and performer with magazine credits including Magma and Butcher’s Dog, and two touring spoken word theatre shows to her name. Her most recent collection, Passerine, was published by Bad Betty Press in 2021.
