The Rebecca Swift Foundation is excited to announce it has received funding from Arts Council England to create an online network for women poets across the UK.

The Women Poets’ Network has been specifically designed to respond to the challenges that women poets face, providing them with a space to vent, to discuss and find solidarity with one another. For a small fee, members will have access to our online library of inspirational articles, discounts on digital events, in-person gatherings at regional hubs and a UK-wide directory of women poets.

By centering creativity, resilience and pastoral support, the Women Poets’ Network will help grow a thriving community of talented women poets.

The Women Poets’ Network will join the Rebecca Swift Foundation’s well-established biennial prize and mentorship programme the Women Poets’ Prize, demonstrating the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing and champion women poets of all ages, supporting them in the development of their work and practice, and bringing attention to stand-out voices. Membership for the Women Poets’ Network is now open, with a choice of three support levels starting at £15 annually.
